What does friendship mean to me?
It's really hard to say
A true and loving, caring friend
Is there for you each day
Friendships bloom like roses
Tipped with morning frost
The fragrant, velvet petals shared
Our friendship can't be lost
A true friend won't ask questions
With indiscressions of your past
A true friend will embrace the joy
Of what you share will last
A friendship must be nurtured
With compassion and with care
A true friend wont betray you
Both good and bad they'll share
True friends, they are like treasures
They're very hard to find
To love a friend so dearly
Who's loving, warm and kind
So if you have a special friend
One whom you adore
Pray with thanks to God above
How could you ask for more?
